Club Night Info and Results

Club nights are an informal club event held on Thursday nights during the Summer season.  Racing starts at 5:30pm, warmup from 5pm, and swimmers take part in pre-entered events that they have selected.  Our Silver, Bronze, JP and LTS squads swimmers get to swim a maximum of 4 events, with Elite, ND and Gold swimming 6 events.

The main aim of club night is for new swimmers to be able to experience racing in a friendly atmosphere with their team mates. It is also for seasoned swimmers to try new events and new distances.  The events are held in racing format and all ages and genders swim together.  Club nights are held in a fun environment and are an ideal introduction to competition and an opportunity to meet and socialise with other swimmers.  In addition, whenever a swimmer beats their recorded personal best (PB) time for an event, they will receive points which accumulate throughout the year and are the basis of our age group awards at our annual club prizegiving.

We also have give-aways like chocolate fish and a lucky $5 draw, so make sure you stick around after the swimming for these.

A BBQ is run as a club fundraiser so come and have a sausage and/or hashbrown, drinks and lollies and watch your children swim.
