ABOUT US

The Fairfield Swim Club has been providing swimming to the local community since 1967.  We are located at the Fairfield College pool during Terms 1 and 4 and at Waterworld Te Rapa during Terms 2 and 3.

Fairfield Swim Club is a large friendly swimming club catering to swimmers of all ages and abilities.  We offer a wide variety of lessons and training regimes for swimmers of ALL ages and competency levels. From Learn to Swim right up to competitive swimming at the highest levels (national and international competition). We also cater for athletes focusing on multi-discipline events such as triathlon.

The Fairfield Swim Club is accredited by Swimming New Zealand as a Quality Swim School and runs a learn-to-swim programme based on the Swimming New Zealand swimsafe programme.

Fairfield Swim Club exists to promote and encourage swimming at all levels, while maintaining a family atmosphere.  We aim to support competitive swimming in the local community by teaching, coaching and training of our swimmers.

OUR SWIMMING PHILOSOPHY is

"To be able to move forward we must always be willing to look to the future and make the changes that are needed, never stand still, always keep moving."

Our Coaching Team below are responsible for delivering our swim programme to our National, National Development, Multi Squads, Junior Squads and Learn to Swim.

The Fairfield Swim Club Committee are responsible for adminstration of the Club.
